Peter Moser
Pete came to Suite101 with several years of writing experience. He first wrote very detailed investigative police reports during his career as a police officer. After attending the police academy, Pete attended writing courses at the academy. During his police career, his training and experience gave him a thorough knowledge of the many areas of crime and law enforcement.
Now retired from the police force, Pete's greatest writing enjoyment comes from writing crime and law enforcement-based articles and stories, etc. After his retirement he attended college, majoring in Business Administration, but quickly found that most of his enjoyment came from his writing courses.
Since writing became his new passion, he enrolled in all the writing courses he could, even sacrificing some of his required courses to do so. A police story Pete wrote was published in the school’s annual anthology book. While he was a student, and even after that, he attended many writing seminars that were offered by the college.
Pete started freelancing for a few newspapers and on-line sites following school. In his spare time, reading and daily journaling (which first became a required habit for him when he was in college), helps Pete keep his writing fresh.
He greatly enjoys writing for Suite101.
